MsTax.Org was designed to better address the education and certification needs of Mississippi's Tax Assessors, Tax Collectors, Appraisers and related professionals.

Through a long-standing partnership with the Mississippi State Tax Commission, the Center for Governmental Training & Technology (CGT) provides administrative support and plays an advisory role in fulfilling the legislatively-mandated Mississippi Education and Certification Program (MECP) for assessors and appraisers.

The CGT has also partnered with the Mississippi Assessors and Collectors Association (MACA) and the Mississippi Chapter of the International Association of Assessing Officers (MS-IAAO) in providing educational services and administative support.

This web site provides additional tools for enhanced communication and professional development within this essential area of local government.
